William’s art work

William is becoming more interested in drawing/painting than he has been in the past. He has recently started trying to colour in within the lines.



Do children have ‘periods’ in the same way great artists do? If so, then since last November William has been in the monochrome period. Here are some examples, including the book in which he coloured 38 pages brown. Yes, just brown. He calmly sat at the kitchen table and over a few evenings worked his way through the book. We wonder whether he might be beginning to emerge from this phase, as yesterday he coloured in this castle red, but included a black storm cloud. Watch this space....
